When to Go?ASR encourages our attendees to take advantage of the free time on Sunday afternoon to enjoy Busch Gardens (or any other local area attraction if you prefer). The poster session ends at 2:45pm on Sunday, and Busch Gardens is open until 8pm that evening, so you will have ~5 hours to enjoy the park.How to Get There?Busch Gardens is a 15 minute drive from the Colonial Williamsburg area. We strongly encourage attendees to carpool if possible since quite a few are local or renting a car for their stay. We will have a sign-up sheet at the Registration Desk where we can match up drivers & riders. To help facilitate attendees who would like to go but do not have access to a car or cannot find a shared ride, ASR will provide $10/attendee towards the cost of an Uber or Taxi if needed. To receive your cash reimbursement, you will need to show your Uber/Taxi and BG ticket receipt at the Registration Desk onsite. |
